Resolutions for my last year on earth

The year used to pass very slowly when i was in Primary school. Probably because i enjoyed the feeling of being like a senior to the P1s, getting promoted to each level yearly excites me a lots. Everything was so simple then. Everyday was about going to school, tuitions, home, eat, sleep, play, study. I never really had to worry about anything. Living in that comfort zone, i feel really protected & safe. No big decisions needed, no major events. Nothing boring yet simple and peaceful. Secondary school was probably the best time of my life. Through stressed over O levels, 7 of us were so bonded at that time and everything just seemed fun with them around. Basketball after school was something we looked forward to daily. Sometimes, I really miss those times we had together. Those are important memories.

Its till poly that i realized how fast things are going. Sometimes i feel that.. things were no longer as simple as before, everything is not just about being happy. I am like… forced to leave that comfort zone of mine.. and i started to realized… how judgmental people can be (i am guilty of that as well), how realistic, how things just changed.

Anywayyyy, its just 2 months more to go, before i move on to the next stage in life.

I was trying to recall the New Year Resolution i made at the end of 2010 or early this year, but i realized i never really get down to it. Acctually, i couldn’t remember if i did make any. Looking back at all my blog post, I have to say 2011 was a good year. Attachment, school, meetups, chalet, diving, basketball. I am contented and blessed with whatever i had. Despite small hiccups along the way, 2011 I would say it’s still better than the previous. Learnt a lot, grew a lot, gain a lot.

So my New Year Resolution:

# to be myself
# to live life till the fullest
# to have more confident
# to brush up on my social skills
# to be independent

That’s all.

I have mixed feelings about it ending so soon. Sad that it ended and worried about what the new year has in store for me. Goodbye 2011, I’ll miss you. HELLO TWO-O-ONE-TWO. Let’s see what you have prepared for me.

They are the ones who made my life in poly a more enjoyable one. Crazy at times, but will always be there to listen and speak up for me in class. Love the gossipings/stalking sessions we had & thankful to have them around

Christmas meetup with the two ‘lyn-s’ yesterday. No bf, solely a girls date this time round. Walked rounds @ Bugis junction before settling down at V8 cafe for an early dinner.

Look at what i saw at Juztoday’s deal! 4 Hrs VIP Adventure Cruise to Lazarus Island / St. John / Kusu Island. What a luxurious getaway! if only the deal ends at a later date, i’ll definitively save up for this! Like those scenes in HK dramas, i want get the feeling of owning a cruise too! hahahahaha.

OKKKK ENOUGH DREAMING… GOT TO STOP PROCRASTINATING AND GET DOWN TO WORK. bye folk.

Decembrrrrrruu

December is probably the favorite month of the year for many of us. Besides the crazy weather change, the air is filled with Christmas spirit! It really gives a good reason for people, to put work and other commitments aside, and just meet up to have a great time together. Gift-giving adds another layer to the joys of Christmas. We all love to receive, but there is great comfort in giving too:)

I am kind of in love with stingrays after last week’s class outing. So, its a must to order when dining at Makansutra this Christmas eve! Totally <3 that open air, mini hawker center beside Esplanade. Its as good as the one at chomp chomp yea

Xmas was spent with the girls over at my place. We did some ‘marketing’ and had steamboat for LUNCH. yes lunch. They were too obsessed with mahjong after that. So i self-entertained with all the itouch games & youtube videos.

Merry xmas guys! Maybe i should start on my ICA revision soon. Hopefully next week wun be pack with project meetings Bye folk.

Christmas Fever

Yes!!! We’ve all been afflicted with the Christmas fever. The streets are adorned with Holiday decors and lights, shoppers troop to the malls, Christmas carols are blasting off from stores and even my blog is snowing! And yes again…our wallets are flat already. or maybe just mine

My 2nd visit to buffet town @ raffles city yesterday. It offers quite a range of item there! Salmon Sashimi is especially loved <3 I ate the whole lot chunk of food with my dropping nose and slight fever, uhhhhuh Life is good.. still.

Caught Mission Impossible @ Marina Square before heading down to Cleon’s house for BBQ. Like what eve said, action movie is really not my cup of tea, i fell asleep half way through. Its the second movie that managed to put me to sleep, first was captain america =/

My nose almost dropped during BBQ yesterday, i was sniffing and tearing throughout. & the bbq food didn’t make me feel any better, in fact worse… though i must admit that the stingray was really superb! Eve and I went around exploring the condo like some sua ku tourist.

scuba diving

Had a wonderful night @ outram secondary school!

bought a scuba diving course @ deal.com few weeks back and we finally had our first lesson today! The feeling is freaking awesome cool. a superb experience with a very friendly instructor! (Y) Really want to go on to the advance lesson. but money is one problem, going overseas to dive is another. haii

While food gives people energy, it can also make people feel happier!
This holiday is awesome because I am fed with good food Loves!

The spare phone that i was using officially died on me. Like what mum said, i am a phone killer. Phones under my hand never get to live till their next birthday. haha, how true. Got a new phone using bro’s line. Its another 6months, before i get my dream bb

Anw, yay-ness! MOM’s job assignment officially ended last Tuesday. No more morning calls from sup! returned all the pass and papers back to MOM & pay is coming in this week!! (: Great, now i have approximately 3weeks before school starts. Come on time, pass slower

Had an early celebration for bro’s 21th bdae last Saturday @ downtown east chalet. Out of teens and into adulthood. What great feeling! Envious but, NO 21 is too old! I must say… having a surprise bdae chalet with friends and family is pretty cool.

Pearl, eve, hx, ju and I had a short meet up today. Headed over to bugis for a steamboat session @ 鲜得来火锅. The spicy soup base is superb. Just like lok lok, it gave us thick red lips after eating it! (Y)

ok i am really looking forward to tmr’s diving lesson and Wednesday’s night out with the girls. will blog more about it next time! counting down… 21 more days to school start. cheers!

Sorry… allow me to vent my anger here for the first time.

Seriously, I really hope you are reading this, mum. Because I want to tell you, how much your words can hurt people around you. Not once, twice, but all the time. You feel tired, so will I. I don’t think it’s very nice of you to just vent your anger at me when you are not in the mood. I mean, hey I am not a “venting machine” I have feelings too. Seriously, it’s hard to read you. I don’t know what is going on in your head. One moment you are alright, the other moment u flare up.

You said you don’t know what rubbish I have been doing all these while… but did u bother asking? Have u once asked me how was work? Do you know there was a few times where I got scolded by respondents on the phone and I really want to whine to you how bloody yaya those people were… but I ended up turning to dad instead. Because seems like… it’s always your work you are talking about. If u din realized, each time you talk to me… it’s either about your work, your computer course or you son. It’s so pathetic that I have to get my results printed out and leave it on your table… for you to see it, the next day. Do you know how much I want to show off to you…tat hey, your daughter did very well this semester?

So pls don’t say I have things hiding from you and pls stop saying we only tell things to our father. Because he will walk in to our room to talk to us, because he bother to ask. How about you? Thinking back at how I defended you when u quarrelled with dad and bro… I feel so stupid.
